I’ve said this on numerous occasions and I will say it again for the newbies here, when you become an auto transport broker, you’ll need to buy auto transport leads if you want to succeed in this business.

There’s no way around it- unless you’re stealing clients from your previous company which I don’t condone nor recommend.

So when you signup to buy these auto shipping leads, regardless of who you choose, one of the first questions you’ll be asked is,

“How many auto transport leads do you want”?

So you will need to know exactly how many you want either per day, per week and for some companies, per month. This is why it’s best to figure it out beforehand so you’re not sounding like a bubbling fool on the phone.

I can hear at least one or two of you saying, “But Ashley, they’re just lead providers. Who cares if we stumble a little bit?”

So before you start jumping on my back about it, let me explain this. You are an auto transport broker. Or in some of your cases, you are an aspiring auto transport broker. You decided to join one of the most competitive industries there is. Every interaction with every person that has your company’s name on it is important.

Believe it or not, a lot of these lead provider sites are not auto transport brokers. They are simply people who know how to market the crap out of a business and decided to specialize in auto transport minus the headaches. Think about it for a minute. There are over 204,000 inquiries for car shipping each and every month in the United States alone. Why not join in on one of the most lucrative industries out there?

So when you’re interacting with these auto transport leads providers? Always remember that


First Impressions Are Lasting. You never know who might become your biggest client or your biggest advocate.

You want to make sure you’re on your game. So if they have a friend or a friend of a friend who needs to ship a car? You’ll be top of mind.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not tell you to kiss ass, but what I am telling you is that every interaction that has your business name all over it? Needs to be on point.

And I don’t expect you to get there in your own. My job is to make you better and to guide you.
