Hey what’s up car shipping Rockstars, it’s your girl Ashley from ReloGeek.com. In this video we are talking about one of my favorite topics: blogging. So if you’re a carrier or a broker, this video is for you.
So what is blogging and why should you give two flying ostriches. As if ostriches could fly.
Simply put. Blogging is when you write about a certain topic on your website. In your case, auto transport.
You should blog because it’s how you can generate high quality leads for your business. Let’s take a look at each business independently and how it can help you in the long term.
As an auto transport broker, you’re probably buying leads right? And chances are you’re converting 6-9% of those.
If you were to blog, you can generate your own leads. People who like what you’ve said and thus decided to fill out a quote on your website.
These leads are higher quality and usually ready to convert before you’ve even spoken to them.
Now let’s take a look at a carrier.
Blogging for carriers can help you attract the right clients on a specific route. When you can do this right, you’ll find that 95% of the time, these guys will convert.
This benefits you because they’re a customer coming directly to you and not through a broker. In turn, you’ll be able to charge what you’re worth and feel damn good about it.
As you can see, blogging is critical to your business’s long term growth strategy. If you want to get in front of the right people who want you, blogging is one way you can do this.
The best part of blogging for your auto transport business, is that it costs little to no money, it’s highly effective over time and it yields extremely high ROI.
Blogging is how I was able to generate my own leads and to this day, I still generate high quality leads from simple blog posts.
The key to doing blogging right is not just about SEO or search engine optimization. The key to blogging is about being relevant.
You want to write about the things your potential client is searching for. By doing this, when they search for that specific topic, your website will come up.
I talk a lot about personality and being authentically you on this channel and in all my training. Personality and authenticity is equally if not more important as it pertains to blogging.
Let’s take a look at why:
>>The client searches a topic. In this case, one that you’ve written about.
They click your link which takes them to your site.
Once they get there, they’re reading your take on the topic.
If they like what they’re reading, they will click through to fill out a Quote.
Now what if you were dull, boring and you copied the next broker word for word? The client will see that and chances are, they’ll back off your site.
You lose an easy sale.
I hope you can see why blogging for your auto transport business is critical for your long term success.
It’s not something that will happen overnight, but with the right strategy in place, with the right approach and know how, you can reap the benefits of blogging for years to come.
There’s nothing like generating your own leads. Not only are they easy to convert, you have a higher return on investment. And this my friends?
Is how you succeed in this business.
